WHO WE ARE
The Mid Island Farmers Institute supports farmers and rural folk
in the Comox Valley of British Columbia
We are farmers and Comox Valley residents who are invested in the well being of our local community. We organize workshops, community events and share resources to support farmers and agricultural businesses on Vancouver Island.
Members of our Executive Board sit on various Community Boards and Projects including: Tsolum River Agricultural Watershed, Comox Valley Regiona District Airshed Protection Strategy, Comox Valley Food Hub Steering Committee, Food Policy Council and Vancouver Island Adaptation to Climate Change.
